Peter, our league team A captain, received the trophy and a cash prize for coming first in Division 1 of the Mansfield & District Thursday League on Thursday 16 September at Shirebrook.

The team also took part in the final of the Sir John Eastwood Trophy against Retford A - who had been the winners of Division 2. Our opponents were just too strong for us on the day, winning on three of the four rinks. Well done to them. We came away with the runner up cash prize.

Thanks to Shirebrook Bowls Club for hosting the event and providing such a nice green.
